On Tuesday evening, May 22, Austin’s own world-renowned speaker, teacher, and entrepreneur Gary Hoover will present a big screen visual business show at Round Rock’s own world-class Flix Brewhouse. This engaging, enlightening, surprising program will tell the story of the rise of the Computer Industry in America. Learn how IBM came about and what made it such a great company, even in its early years. Learn about J.C.R. Licklider, Ed Roberts, and the other visionaries who foresaw the digital age in which we live today. Learn the secrets of some of the most remarkable leaders and entrepreneurs in American history, how they saw a future that no one else did and continue to shape our daily lives long after they are gone. There is a good chance you know little about these visionaries, but there is a great deal that any entrepreneur, business person, or not-for-profit leader can learn from them.
